I’ve been experimenting with combining wet felting and hooking because I like the effect. I also love nature and I am inspired by it, birds in particular interest me but whole ecosystems are the heart of my thoughts.

In 1999 I took a class with Ann Winterling who encouraged my artistic goals and taught me the basics of hooking and I have been hooking ever since. My mom was an antique dealer who loved hooked rugs and I picked up an appreciation of them from her. I also love the feel of the fabrics and of course the colors and textures.I have been Secretary and President of the Guild as well as a co-organizer of the Hooked in the Mountains Show every other year.
