Guild Kits, Loaner Hoops and Gripper Frames Available

Thank you for your interest in the Guild’s education program and your willingness to volunteer your time to teach the art and craft of rug hooking using materials and tools provided by the Green Mountain Rug Hooking Guild.

In the interest of attracting new members, rug hooking kits are free for kids and $30 for adults, provided the request is from a Guild member who is teaching someone. Mailing costs will be charged.  A kit includes: a hook, a design on a 15″ square of linen and a sufficient amount of wool strips to complete the design. See the bottom of this page for a picture of the design.  The purpose of our kits is to teach the basics of rug hooking and promote the Guild. We do not want to compete with vendors who sell beginner kits. Gripper frames and hoops are available to loan if needed.
