FALL GUILD MEETING, CLASSES, SPEAKER & HOOK-IN @ Lake Morey 2025
Its time to get together for a day of hooking, classes, visiting and our Fall Membership Meeting! Lake Morey will be hosting us again and this year we’ve added an hour to our day. That makes time for everyone to do everything! Students will be able to participate in their classes, attend the Meeting and the after-lunch Speaker. Another change we’ve made is to move upstairs to the newly refurbished ballroom on the main floor. So no stairs, corridors or uneven floors to negotiate. The ballroom is accessed via the main entrance and is grand enough to hold the Meeting/Hook-in, Red Solo Cup Auction and Vendors. The two classes will also be on that main floor off the lobby in large, bright rooms. We think these will be really nice improvements. Everyone all together with time for everything!

Fun and Education
We ’ll be having two classes and a speaker this Fall.
Last Fall Cyndy Duade taught a class on artistic backgrounds. She got such excellent reviews that we ’ve invited her back again for a class in Wide Cut Crewel. Click here for details or to register
Lisa Chaloner was our speaker last Fall. She gave an inspiring presentation on design strategies that really encouraged hookers to have confidence they could design their own rugs. This year, she ’ll be teaching a class on “Upcycled Color.” How to use worms, noodles and left-over bits to make a cohesive rug. Click here for details or to register
Jennifer Davey will be our after-lunch speaker. She ’ll share about her unique artistic approach and process. We ’ve added an hour to the day (ending at four) so that students will not have to miss the speaker.
