In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, April and May 2021 events have been edited to include only virtual gatherings. You should probably assume that in-person gatherings listed for after June 2021 may NOT be happening, but it may be worth a call or email, as weather may permit outdoor gatherings.
We hope to be able to display more VIRTUAL events and hook-ins for these COVID times. If you have a group with at least one GMRHG member, that would welcome other guild members as visitors to your local ZOOM gatherings, please let us know! firstname.lastname@example.org
The Guild Board has scheduled a few virtual workshops for late fall/winter 2021-22. See Guild Events page.

GMRHG Hook In – Brattleboro
June 5, 2016
Save the Date! Due to last year’s big success, the Guild will be hosting another hook-in in Brattleboro in June.
Come for the Strolling of the Heifers on Saturday and stay for a Guild Hook In on Sunday!
Needle-felting – Pictorial and 3-D
Carolyn Webb will give a talk and demonstration on needle-felting, including techniques for making pictorial felt designs and 3-D felting. She will have many sample pieces, and there will be felting books, magazines, and materials to peruse.
She has been having fun with textiles pretty much all her life, starting with knitting which she learned from her mother, Lulu. Carolyn recently began rug hooking, and loves to knit, embroider, felt, and embellish just about anything. Carolyn has taught nuno and wet felting for many years and has also taught children and adults to knit and embroider. Before returning to New England last summer, she lived in Tucson, Arizona, where she was involved in several Weaving and Spinning Guilds.
Carolyn will also offer a needle-felting workshop for beginners. In the workshop participants will make a needle-felted pin of simple shape (flower, animal, or abstract). The workshop kit includes wool roving, needle, sample designs, and materials to finish the pin. Price for workshop is $25, including kit, (not including foam, which will be available for use.) The workshop will last one hour, and will be limited to six participants. If you are interested in this workshop, please contact Carolyn at email@example.com.
